CIMS 4  – US 29553 and 29554

This is a 2 day course which is designed for those who have formal IMT roles or who may be alternates in the event of a response and includes:

  • Basic CIMS structure, principles and characteristics
  • The Incident Management Team (IMT) – structure, roles, functions and sub-functions
  • CIMS documentation, facilities, handovers/briefings (includes practical scenario for giving a handover/briefing)
  • Three desk-top scenarios using a full IMT with participants assuming roles and responsibilities of given IMT members
  • Crisis Leadership
  • Online assessment occurs after the class is complete
  • Scenarios reflect  response situations that may be experienced by participants for each class
