Certificate Of Approval Training

Are you new to the security industry? Our Certificate of Approval mandatory training course will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to help you find employment in the security sector. Security is a growing and varied industry – there are lots of opportunities for you to work across different sectors such as retail, mobile patrols, secure transport, courts, government agencies, events and many others. This covers the mandatory training required for a security Certificate of Approval (COA) – Unit Standards 27360, 27361 and 27364. Delivery is a combination of online learning and assessment and practical classroom sessions. We also offer a complete Certificate of Approval service from licence application through to notifying PSPLA of training completion.

Face to face COA mandatory training. Unit Standards 27360/27361/27364. The process to get a security licence or Certificate of Approval, consists of 2 steps. 1. Application for a licence. This is done through the PSPLA a division of the Ministry of Justice.   C4 does offer a licence application package known as the "Gold Package" where we do the licence application for you 2. Completion of 3 mandatory unit standards - 27360/27361/27364. One is practical and covered off in a 5-6 hour face to face class. The other 2 unit standards are theoretical and completed online. * This package does not include licence application fee.
